Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol is a family owned and operated business that was founded in 2013 by Jeff and Shelly Zimmerman. Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol is currently the largest retailer of electric powered bed bug equipment in the United States. Shelly Zimmerman, co-owner and CFO, oversees every part of the operation and manages each department head. Jeff Zimmerman, co-owner and CEO, has a resume that includes over 28 years’ experience in the pest control industry, 12 years of which he owned his own pest control business. During that span of time, he personally serviced over 5,000 hotels and has treated over 5,000,000 square feet of treatment space, consisting of homes, apartments, condos, and hotels. He is credentialed with a Core and 7A certification.

Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol’s humble beginning was born out of the need to resolve bed bug infestations with an economical, effective and safe solution. It has grown to become an approved Vendor for Best Western, Choice, NPMA, ELFA, Red Lion, CCCA, ACA, and City Gate Network. Some of its accolades include: having heaters in every state in the US as well as in Canada, France and Saudi Arabia, being an AAHOA member for 7 years, a Choice and Best Western member for 3 years, a Red Lion member for 7 years, being licensed through the Michigan Department of Agriculture for 21 years, and facilitation of numerous training sessions in vendor workshops and for the State of Michigan. However, despite all of its growth and wonderful achievements, the company still prides itself on honesty, integrity, and quality.

The Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol mission is to provide products that are safe and easy to use, avoid the use of harmful chemicals, and leverage technology to more quickly and efficiently heat an area for treatment.
