Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol is a family owned and operated business that was founded in 2013 by Jeff and Shelly Zimmerman. We are currently the largest retailer of electric powered bed bug equipment in the United States. Shelly, co-owner and CFO, oversees every part of the operation and manages each department head. Jeff, co-owner and CEO, has a resume that includes over 30 years of experience in the pest control industry, 12 years of which he owned his own pest control business. During that span of time, he personally serviced over 5,000 hotels and treated over 5,000,000 square feet of treatment space, consisting of homes, apartments, condos, and hotels. He is credentialed with a Core and 7A certification.
Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol’s humble beginning was born out of the need to resolve bed bug infestations with an economical, effective, and safe solution. We have grown to become an approved vendor for Best Western, Choice, NPMA, ELFA, Red Lion, CCCA, ACA, City Gate Network, and Truly Nolen. Some of our company’s accolades include: having heaters in every state in the US, as well as in Canada, France, and Saudi Arabia, being an AAHOA member for 11 years, a Choice and Best Western member for 8 years, a Red Lion member for 10 years, being licensed through the Michigan Department of Agriculture for over 30 years, and facilitation of numerous training sessions in vendor workshops and for the State of Michigan. However, despite all of our growth and achievements, we still hold honesty, integrity, quality, and caring for our customers as top priority.
The Bed Bug Heat Doctor/PrevSol mission is to provide products that are safe and easy to use, avoid the use of harmful chemicals, and leverage technology to more quickly and efficiently heat an area for treatment.
